사진에 형광펜 친 부분이 이해가 가지 않아서 나름대로 관련 내용(한계생산물 체감현상) 등을 찾아보면서 이해를 해보았다. 내가 내린 결론이 잘 이해한건지 댓글 달아주시면 감사하겠다.

[stewart calculus 9th edition : Early Transcendentals]
'When the total cost function is a polynomial function, labor costs depend in part on the coefficient of the highest order term in x.' I didn't understand this part.
In an attempt to understand it, I searched for related information(diminishing returns) and came to my own conclusion.
If 'diminishing returns' is interpreted from the perspective of production, ‘increasing labor costs’ gradually increase as one unit of production increases. Therefore, labor costs partially depend on the coefficient of the highest order term of the cost function.
I would appreciate it if you could leave a comment to see if my understanding is correct.
